i. Study on goal-driven oral health data extraction methods

Health services are knowledge-intensive fundamental services.The current process of medical generation and consumption of data is isolated data storage, accompanied by blowout data growth, resulting in a surge in information management and integration costs.We study the acquisition, storage, query, use, update technology, methods, and support platforms of goal-driven healthcare information and knowledge for isolated data scattered across different databases.New data analysis techniques are eventually used to translate these data into evidence of medical institutions, translate these data into available knowledge and decision-makings which  yielded new value.

ii. Research on Health Data Security and Privacy Protection Technology

The safety of health data and patient privacy protection are widely concerned and hotly discussed topics in the health field both at home and abroad.To this year, the Organizationed States has specifically enacted the Health Information Privacy Protection Law (HIPAA) that requires health care institution information systems to be used in accordance with the provisions of the law.Nowadays, electronic medical records and health records are increasingly popular, the collection and access of patients 'personal data should also be more prudent. Strong and effective information security defense measures need to be established to protect patients' privacy.Access to personal data must be subject to strict access control and authorization, the statistics and analysis of teaching and research data and other group data must be used after the individual identity characteristics.We have developed a patient-centered, mobile, shareable and exchangeable oral health data service system to realize data sharing with patient authorization, and to ensure that the hardware and software platforms designed for current needs can meet the future needs of oral medical information sharing application services.

In the domain of medical, mobile devices (smartphones and tablets) applications have become the latest popular trend. Some new mobile health apps are launched every day which has a significant impact on users' health information consumption behavior with the efficiency of the medical treatment process.Doctors improve their workflow and the efficiency of software applications. Information assets through highly available, portable and convenient mobile services.The benefit of mobile devices is that doctors can provide services anytime and anywhere, and that it is a key, efficient, and low-cost health service enabling tool.Doctors can monitor the status of patients anytime and anywhere, and patients can get doctors's medical diagnosis advice, guide their treatment behavior, living habits, daily health promotion activities at any time.
