The "RONG" scholarship is established for the "Tsinghua University Big Data Capability Improvement Project", which aims to improve the quality of postgraduate training, promote the training of big data talents, and attract outstanding students.In Chinese, the pronunciation of "RONG" can represent "integration", "tolerance", "tolerance", "prosperity"., representing the original intention and concept of the scholarship. According to the students' comprehensive ability improvement performance after participating in the "Tsinghua University Big Data Ability Improvement Project", a number of special, first, second and third-class scholarships will be set up.

The "RONG" scholarship evaluation is carried out in the fall semester of each year. It mainly consists of two parts: Application materials and presentation.

Part 1—Application materials

After participating in the "Big Data Ability Improvement Project", the scholarship applicants have significantly improved their learning ability, scientific research ability, practical ability, social service ability, innovation and entrepreneurship ability, and corresponding achievements.

Part 2—Presentation

The "RONG" scholarship review team of the Big Data Research Center will conduct a defense review for the finalists.
